So I hope everyone had a great Easter. I did. I went over to a friends house and a few of us had a nice Easter dinner together followed by a fierce game of Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture on DVD. Man its such a good game, especially the Pop Culture edition. Heres and excerpt from part of the evening....

Cheryl: (without any hesitation) Breakin'
*Crickets chirping here*
Other Team: So do you guys have an answer...
Cheryl: Breakin', seriously thats the answer.
Cheryls team: Oh. Really? Ive never heard of that. Ok if she says so, go with that.
Other Team: Breakin'. Correct.
Cheryl: Told you. Man I love that movie! Have you guys seriously never heard of Breakin'?
Hehehe..needless to say the team I was on put our unique wits together and managed to win the game! Good Times had by all!
Note to self: 5 Guinness, fierce games of beer pong, & one NCAA BBall game = Cheryl very drunk and very hungover!

funny you should put an excerpt regarding Breakin' cuz curtis saw that it was in my DVD collection and asked...uhm what kind of movie is that?? lol....i follow with...youve never heard of breakin' kind of the same way you did lol...funny stuff...guess only the Bradley gurls are schooled in whats kool and whats totally 80s :) we sure did miss ya here.
I was wondering if you were an avid paint thinner drinker. Doesnt sound that tasty. But hey I also drink jager and thats not all that tasty, but it sure does warm your insides!
"breakin" and its fine sequel, "breakin 2: electric boogaloo," are excellent reminders of the innocence and positivity of that decade i like to refer to as the '80s... whether you relate to the two films' nominal heroine, kelly, or her two knights in shining armor, ozone and turbo, i think we can all find role models while simultaneously being so very stimulated intellectually and even learn a hearty lesson as well... word up to the "breakin" films and thank god they've lived a longer and more successful shelf life than two of their counterparts from the same era, "beat street" and "krush groove."
and one more thing: anyone as disappointed as i was that the actor who played ozone didn't go on to bigger and better things, can find him in a phenomenal feature film from the early '90s entitled "lambada: the movie" in which our hero plays an angry gang-banger... don't miss it!
well i dont have much to say just wanted to make the comment count 10 on your blog for one post geez! lol. oh yeah and by the way jay, family guy is hilarious. couple friends introduced me to it and its a pritty funny show. and eventhough im a little younger than you guys i still know what Quantum Leap was. Im still a Perfect Strangers fan myself. keep it real.
